The Champagne Gautherot's team joins us to wish you happy and bubbly Christmas and New Year Eve !a record-breaking 2023 harvest
Wednesday September 6th : first day of harvest. A year's work in the vineyard comes to an end, leaving us with the enthusiasm and satisfaction of harvesting nice and generous grapes.
We start with superb, healthy and golden Chardonnays, a real success for this vintage. Next come the pinot blanc and then the pinot noir, with suprisingly lower alcohol levels than in recent year, but with remarkable finesse and elegance.
Another special feature of 2023 is the weight of the bunches. In our family's long memory, this vintage has beaten all records !The CHAMPAGNE GAUTHEROT celebrates "LA ROUTE DU CHAMPAGNE"
On July 29th and 30th, the "Route du Champagne en fête" took place in the heart of our small winegrowing village, Celles sur Ource.Over 40,000 visitors came to meet us in our cellar over the weekend. Whether they came from the region or all over the world, we shared our passion together over a glass of wine.It was a great success, and we were delighted to be able to share our know-how with you.
